From sixteen years in the RAF with several operational tours as Officer Commanding of the Medical Emergency Response Team (MERT), to founding both the veterans sailing charity Turn To Starboard and the leadership and team development training company Take Point Training, Shaun has a passion for fostering effective teamwork. As an RYA Qualified Yachtmaster Offshore Skipper and Cruising Instructor, Shaun translates his profound experiences from serving as a military leader and Chief  Executive Officer to empower teams to reach their full potential, both on and off the water.

With three years of experience within the operations team at the leadership and team development training company, Take Point Training, Briana has honed her expertise in project management, client relationships and interpersonal communication. With a passion for effective collaboration and empowered leadership, Briana first stresses the underlying importance of wellbeing and mindfulness. She believes sailing and being in and around the sea is valuable in promoting a healthy work-life balance and encourages therapeutic decompression, so individuals can lead and follow feeling courageously themselves.

Izzy has twenty-three years experience working in the NHS. For ten years as a principal GP in a thriving practice Izzy held many key leadership roles. She now holds senior clinical roles at the East Midlands Ambulance Service and Chesterfield Royal Hospital Emergency Department. Izzy is committed to nurturing talent and coaching people to develop highly functioning and efficient individuals and teams. Izzy holds the RYA Coastal Skipper Qualification and is working towards Yachtmaster. She believes that the challenges of sailing and being on the sea can help people and teams recover, develop, and therefore create change.

Yacht Manager & Skipper

Tristan has been a professional yachtsman for ten years. He has an extensive background in ocean yacht racing and corporate charters ranging from the UK, Mediterranean and Caribbean seas. Tristan is qualified with his Yachtmaster Offshore and Cruising Instructor tickets and has vast experience maintaining and repairing boats of many kinds. Being Cornish, Tristan is a crucial member of the team with his broad knowledge of the coastline and waters, providing our esteemed clients with a well-rounded and exclusive experience of the finest local coves, rivers and open waters.
